Jyotsna Kadam

Jyotsna Kadam (b. 1957) is an Indian contemporary painter whose work evolves from representational depictions of the Sahyadri mountains toward lyrical abstraction rooted in nature’s five elements. A graduate of Sir J.J. School of Art and University of Mumbai, her richly textured compositions evoke earth, water, light, and air through vibrant color and form. With solo exhibitions at Jehangir Art Gallery and numerous awards—including the Maharashtra State Award and a Ministry of Culture fellowship—her art celebrates nature’s spirit and mystical essence
